How long will it take you to transcribe a recording?

To transcribe a recording by one speaker you should allow a minimum of 4 times the length of the recording. You should also allow for various factors such as the type of transcription, quality of the recording, number of speakers, clarity of speech, speakers accents, background noise, terminology etc.

What if I find errors in my work?

If errors are made by us, they will be amended free of charge provided the work is returned to us within 48 hours of receipt.

How long are quotations valid for?

Your quote will be valid 14 days from date of issue.

What are your turnaround times?

We offer a flexible service as well as 48 hour, overnight, Bank Holiday and a weekend service. These are charged at enhanced rates.

Can you guarantee that my work will remain confidential?

Our client confidentiality is adhered to at all times and we are happy to sign client confidentiality agreements. Our working experience means we are skilled and adept at this kind of practice.

What security systems do you have in place?

We have a firewall and current anti-virus software in place. All client media is stored in a fireproof safe when not in use. Work is backed up daily onto an external hard drive to ensure data is kept safe and secure. We delete all client work from our systems 14 days from the date of invoice.

How do I upload work using an FTP Client?

Full instructions will be provided upon request for Client Registration.

Do you have a minimum charge for your services?

Yes, our minimum charge is £20.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Retainer agreements and volume discount can be discussed if we are guaranteed a certain amount of work per month.
